The Game jak i wielu innych artystów, w tym m.in. Justin Bieber, T.I i Snoop Dogg, ostro zareagowali na słowa Laury Ingraham z Fox News na temat Nipsey Hussle’a.

Prezenterka odniosła się w swoim programie The Ingraham Angle, do kawałka „Fuck Donald Trump” nagranego przez Nipsey’a z YG. Po tym jak Fox News wyemitowało fragment refrenu tego utworu, Laura z uśmiechem na twarzy komentowała go wraz ze współprowadzącym program Raymondem Arroyo:

„Cóż za kreatywne i chwytliwe wersy. Czy one dotyczą najniższego w historii bezrobocia?”

Takie zachowanie nie spodobało się wielu artystom, którzy cenili, zamordowanego niedawno rapera. Najostrzej zareagował The Game, który na swoim instagramie opublikował film wraz z odezwą do władz Fox News i swoich fanów:

„Fox News jeśli do jutra nie zwolnicie tej bezczelnej ci*y to stracicie miliony widzów.Jeśli nie wpłynie na to naszą społeczność, to postaramy się o to, żebyście stracili wielu sponsorów. Nie będzie dłużej siedzieli cicho gdy wy lekceważycie i obrażacie naszego brata i naszą kulturę. (…) proszę wszystkich moich fanów, przyjaciół i rodzinę o rozpowszechnianie tego filmu (…) nie chcemy żadnych przeprosin. Chcemy, żebyście ją po prostu zwolnili”.

Laura Ingraham absolutely disgusting what you did on national television. How dare you laugh in the face of a person who has passed on. Doesn’t matter who it is. But disrespecting someone’s who was a pillar in the community and did right by people? Laura Ingraham znana jest ze swojego oddania wobec obecnego prezydenta USA. Średnio też znosi krytykę Trumpa, szczególnie jeśli ta płynie z ust wpływowych czarnoskórych obywateli. Jakiś czas temu drwiła z Lebrona Jamesa i Kevina Duranta, którzy podczas jednego z wywiadów pozwolili sobie a krytykowanie prezydenta.
